Employees are required to have a one –on –one discussion with their line managers based on identified
targets for the year. Identified KPIs must meet the SMART criteria

Immediately the KPIs have been agreed between employee and line manager, employees are required to log
onto Xceed365 platform via https://portal.xceed365.com/signin to submit agreed KPIs.

Once you click on the link, you will be required to sign into the Employee Self-Service platform with your IE username
and Password

Use your Ikeja Electric email

To view your performance profile and to commence the performance objective setting process, please follow the steps
below

Once you click on the “Add” button, the below parameters will display for you to insert the required information.
Select the Perspective/parameter
relevant to the KPI i.e. Financial,
Business & Customer Growth,
Operational Processes, People
Development, Corporate Governance &
QHSE. Please note that you must
select all parameters for your
Performance Objective.

Insert the KPI

Insert how the KPI would be measured

Weight attached to the KPI i.e. 2%,


10%, 15%, 20%, etc..

Target attached to KPI e.g.


89%, 5,000 kWh, etc..

Percentage, Number, etc..

KPI Start Date.

When are you expected to


close out on the KPI?

Click on “Submit” after all


fields have been captured
to successfully conclude
on the KPI

Employees are required to repeat this process severally to capture ALL KPIs agreed between Employee and Line Manager
for the period under review. The KPIs can however not exceed 100% in total weight.

Please note that “Save as Draft” option is not required as the KPIs are automatically saved after clicking the “Submit” button

Once you have successfully


inserted all KPIs for the period
under review, click the “submit”
button to forward your performance
objective to your line manager for
confirmation.

Please note that once this has been


sent, no further changes can be
made to the KPIs except your line
manager requests for modification

After you receive a notification informing you that your line report has submitted his/her performance objective,
kindly log on to Xceed365 Platform to view your Line report’s Performance Objective

After clicking on “Edit” in the previous step, the page below would be displayed to view your line report
performance objectives in detail. Once you are satisfied, kindly click on “Back” to approve or decline

Once you have reviewed your line report’s performance objective. You can either approve or decline.

Click “Approve” to signify your


approval of your line report’s
performance objective.

satisfied with the performance

employee’s performance objective

If the Performance Objective submitted by your line report is below standard, click “Decline” as stated in the
previous step and then include in the comment box, your reason for declining. This would trigger a mail to the
employee to re-submit the performance objective.

After Performance Objective has been confirmed for the year. The confirmed Performance Objective can however
been updated based on a change in Job role or a change in the scope of the job responsibilities.

Q. Where will I get my KPIs from?
Ans. Your KPIs will be received from your Line Manager. Kindly liaise with your line manager to discuss your yearly targets before you
can proceed to the platform to submit it.

Q. How can I save my KPIs before submitting to my line manager?


Ans. KPIs are automatically saved on the Fusion X Platform.

Q. Help! I cannot submit my KPI


Ans. Please check that all the required fields are filled with information relevant to the KPI before attempting to submit.

Q. Help! I submitted my Performance Objective to my Line Manager with an error. How can I change it?
Ans. Please liaise with your line manager to “Decline” your performance objective on the Fusion X platform. Your Performance
Objective will be sent back to you to correct and re-submit.

Q. At what point can I update my KPI due to a change in job role?


Ans. Within two weeks of assuming the new role. However, Updating your Performance Objective must be approved by HR. Please
see process on Performance Objective update.

Q. At what point can I update my KPI due to a change in my job responsibilities?
Ans. You can update our Performance Objective immediately the scope of work has changed. However, Updating your Performance
Objective must be approved by HR. Please see process on Performance Objective update.

Q. I resumed during the middle of the year. How can I set my Performance Objective?
Ans. All new hires are required to set Performance Objective within two weeks of resumption. Please follow the steps in this guide to
set your performance objective for the period under review

Q. I resumed at the end of the year, am I required to set my Performance Objective?


Ans. YES. All new hires are required to set Performance Objective within two weeks of resumption irrespective of the month they
resumed. Please follow the steps in this guide to set your performance objective for the period under review
