Minutes of the 7th Regular Meeting of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Luka,
Oslob, Province of Cebu held on the 2nd day of June 2024 at Luka Barangay Hall.

I. CALL TO ORDER
Hon. Jasmine G. Gumandoy called to order the seventh session of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Luka at 10:00 in the morning on June 2, 2024 held
at Luka Barangay Hall.

II. INVOCATION
The opening prayer was led by our SK Treasurer, Mr. Justine Lauron.

III. NATIONAL ANTHEM


The national anthem was led by our SK Councilor, Hon. Jerd Silvester
Langahid.

IV. ROLL CALL


Sec. Jan D V Mae Baylosis conducted a roll call. After she roll called, the
above-stated persons were present, so the presiding officer declared quorum.

V. READING AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE LAST


MEETING
The reading and approval of the minutes was approved by Hon.
Chrisielda P. Trapila and seconded by Hon. Aljo Louise Luzano.

AGENDA#1: Awarding of Banago Fiesta Inter-Purok Basketball Tournament


The SK Chairperson informed the SK Council that the awarding for Banago
Fiesta Basketball Tournament will be held on June 7, 2024 at Banago Basketball Court.
Hon. Gumandoy encouraged the SK Council to attend the said awarding since it is an
honor for SK Officials for conducting a successful event for all individuals who love to
engage in sports.

AGENDA #2: Disbursement for Banago Fiesta Basketball Tournament Prizes


The SK Treasurer, Mr. Lauron reported to the SK Council that the total
disbursement for the Banago Fiesta Basketball Tournament was P17,000.00 pesos
presenting to the SK Council the supporting documents.

AGENDA#3: Preparation for Banago Fiesta Activities


The SK Chairperson informed the SK Council that the Barangay Officials will
conduct two activities, The Search of Queen of Banago and Ugbok Queen in celebration
of Banago Fiesta 2024. According to Punong Barangay, Hon. Trapa, the SK Officials
were assigned in the preparation of stage decor, certificates and the flow of the
program. Hon. Gumandoy set a date for the preparation and encouraged the SK
Council to be present in preparing for the event.

AGENDA#4: Planning for Luka Youth Summit 2024


The SK Chairperson, in concurrence with the SK Council planned to conduct the
Luka Youth Summit as promised by the SK Council during the KK Assembly last
January 2024. The SK Council formulated activities that will be included during the one
week Luka Youth Summit Activity such as sports tournament, ml tournament, coastal
and road clean-up, sea games, larong pinoy, symposiums, brain games, and one of the
highlight of the activity id the Search for Mr. and Ms. Luka Youth Summit 2024 and the
after party.
The general meeting for Katipunan ng Kabataan was set to be held on June 12,
2024 for the final listing of the group and Hon. Gumandoy tasked the assigned SK
Councilor each purok to invite their youth for them to be on the final lists for Luka
Youth Summit Activity.
The one week Luka Youth Summit Activity was set to conduct on June 23, 2024
to June 30, 2024 at Luka Covered Court. The first day of the activity will be a fun run
and zumba, then the afternoon activity will be the proper opening ceremony of the
activity which will be the presentation of candidates for Mr. and Ms. Luka Youth
Summit, the presentation of yells and banners, and followed by the sports tournament.
The day 2 morning activity will be the coastal and road clean up drive followed by the
sea games, the afternoon activity will be the continuation of a sports tournament. The
third day will be the board games, billiards, and ml tournament which will be held at
Luka Brgy. Hall. The remaining days before the culminating activity will be announced
soon. The last day will be the Championship games for sport tournament and the
evening activity will be the Search for Mr. and Ms. Luka Youth Summit 2024 and the
awarding for the team winners.
AGENDA #6: Preparation for Calin-ay Fiesta Activities
The SK Chairperson, in concurrence with the SK Council planned to conduct a 3
by 3 Basketball Tournament 16 years old below in celebration for the upcoming fiesta of
Purok Banago. Hon. Luzano, the Committee on Sports Development were tasked to
lead the tournament. The Barangay Officials will also conduct a two nights activity, the
Search for Queen of Calin-ay and the Bayle with a live band after.

AGENDA #7: Himamat 2024


The SK Chairperson informed the SK Council that the SK Council of Brgy. Tan-
awan will conduct a Himamat Activity for south barangays of the Municipality of
Oslob. The said activity was set to be held on June 25, 2024, Hon. Gumandoy tasked the
SK Councilor to invite their youth to attend the said Himamat Activity and there will be
a free snacks, lunch and free transpo catered by the SK Officials of Brgy. Luka.

AGENDA #8: Evaluation of SUGBUsog


The SK Chairperson informed the SK Council that Hon. Luzano, Brgy. Councilor
invited the SK to join the SUGBUsog evaluation on June 19, 2024 together with the
NGO’s and BHW. Hon. Gumandoy tasked SK Councilors, Hon. Lagare, Committee on
Environment and Agriculture and Hon. Trapila, Committee on Health and Disaster to
attend the said evaluation since Hon. Gumandoy will not be around.

AGENDA #9: Pictorials for Mr. and Ms. Luka Youth Summit 2024
The SK Chairperson, in concurrence with the SK Council planned to conduct a
pictorials for the Search of Mr. and Ms. Luka Youth Summit 2024 to proudly present the
candidates. The pictorial was set to be held on June 20, 2024 at Luka Brgy. Hall. The
costumes and make up for the candidates will be catered by the SK Officials.
