ADD is multitasking: Dealers Choice Poker: How To Play The Last Dance

Objective: To win the pot by creating the best five-card poker hand using
a specific combination of your hole cards and the community cards.

1. Setup

All players place an ante into the pot.

The dealer deals four face-down cards (hole cards) to every player.
Players are allowed to look at their hands.
The dealer places five face-down community cards (flop cards) in the
center of the table.

2. Gameplay & Betting Rounds

The game proceeds in a series of rounds. Crucially, the first player to act
in every betting round is always the player to the immediate left of the
dealer.

Round 1: A full betting round occurs while all community cards are still
face down.
Rounds 2, 3, & 4: The dealer turns over one community card at a
time, starting from the left. A full betting round follows the reveal of the
1st, 2nd, and 3rd community cards.

3. The Pass (Before the 4th Card)

After the betting round for the 3rd community card is complete, but
before the 4th card is turned over, every player must choose one card
from their hand and pass it clockwise to the player on their left.
Players should not look at the card they are receiving until after they
have passed their own card away. Each player will still have four
cards.
4. The 4th Card & Betting

The dealer turns over the 4th community card.

A full betting round occurs.

5. The Discard (Before the 5th Card)

After the betting round for the 4th community card is complete, but
before the 5th card is turned over, every player must choose one card
from their hand and discard it into a muck pile.
Each player is now left with three hole cards.

6. The Final Round & Showdown

The dealer turns over the 5th and final community card.
A final betting round occurs.
At the showdown, players reveal their hands. To make their final five-
card hand, players must use exactly two (2) of their three hole
cards and exactly three (3) of the five community cards.
The player with the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
