Vision of the department


To educate and train our students into world class technocrats and quality engineering graduates
who could bring out quality research and adapt to technological changes as per needs of industry
and also incur professional ethics with the ability of independent and lifelong learning .

Mission of the Department


M1 : Develop strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills such that they can apply them as
per needs of the industry .

M2 : To Develop world class teaching learning process and encourage learning through
innovation to sustain high performance .

M3 : To elevate , motivate and upgrade faculty members for departmental growth and overall
quality .

M4 : To develop close industrial relation and encourage industry interaction for implementation
of latest and modern curriculum in the department and create research and development
infrastructure for product development .

Program Educational Objective (PEO)


PEO1 : To develop professional and ethical values among students and also to inculcate life
long learning for the development of society and transform lives of others .

PEO2 : To develop a multidisciplinary skill set with latest engineering tools , techniques and
modern software .

PEO3 : To develop ability to design experiments , analyze and interpret results and use technical
knowledge to draw conclusions .

PEO4 : To attain technical skills to identify ,analyze and solve abstruse and complex problems
pertaining to electronics and communication engineering.
Program Outcomes (PO)

1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science,


engineering fundamentals. Specialization to the solution of complex engineering
problems.

2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature and analyze


engineering problems to arrive at substantiated conclusions using first principles of
mathematics, natural, and engineering sciences.

3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering


problems and design system components, processes to meet the specifications with
consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and
environmental considerations.

4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge


including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis
of the information to provide valid conclusions.

5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources,
and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to
complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual


knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the
consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional


engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the
knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and


responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

9. Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual and as a


member or leader in teams and in multidisciplinary settings.

10. Communication: Communicate effectively with the engineering community


and with society at large. Be able to comprehend and write effective reports
documentation. Make effective presentations, and give and receive clear
instructions.

11. Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and


understanding of engineering and management principles and apply these to one's
own work, as a member and leader in a team. Manage projects in multidisciplinary
environments.

12. Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and
ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of
technological change.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO)


PSO1 Graduates of the program will achieve excellence in electronics product design, by
acquiring knowledge in mathematics, science and designing principles.

PSO2 Graduate will be able to analyze, interpret and provide solutions to the real life m
electronics and Multidisciplinary problems engineering problems.

PSO3 Graduates of the department will be able to understand independent R&D projects
in the field of ECE

PSO4 Graduates of the department will be able to emerge as entrepreneurs sprouting up


startups potentially growing into successful enterprises
