Introduction
Huawei rectifier unit supplied with Site Monitoring
unit(SMU). SMU02B is a type of monitoring unit
for site and power. It can monitor and manage
telecom power system, and provides site
monitoring function. LCD screen and keyboard are
equipped in the unit to realize man-machine
interaction. It has a serial communication port and
an Ethernet port to realize local and remote
monitoring. SMU02B supports the monitoring
management of HUAWEIs power system series,
including embedded power, indoor power and (1) Running indicator (2) Minor alarm indicator
outdoor power system. (3) Major alarm indicator (4) LCD
(5) Locking latch (6) Button
(7) USB port(reserved) (8) RS485/RS232 serial port
(9) FE port

1. Connect the Ethernet cable between your laptop & rectifier controller(SMU 20B) & then set your laptop TCP/IPv4
as 192.168.0.11 & mask 255.255.255.0

2. Open IE & type address as 192.168.0.10. You will get the login window of Huawei rectifier. Type in
username admin & password 000001 or 001 & then press Enter.

3. After entering login credential, home screen appears with basic system information.

4. Click on Monitoring tab & then on Battery Group. You can see the running information of
battery bank connected to rectifier.

5. Click on Running Parameter & expand the short test parameters. Fill in the required information
& enable short test, then Submit.

6. Click on Running Control & set the short test control to Start. Then submit to
start battery test.

7. Now click on Running Information to check the battery bank status.

8. With the passage of time, you can observe the drop in remaining battery capacity.

9. When test time finished, batteries will start charging again.

10. Click first on Query tab & then Battery Test Records to get the history of battery test.
