Welcome back friends. In the previous lecture


we have seen the gating system the
meaning of the Gating System. We have seen
that Gating System refers to all the sections
through which the molten metal passes while
entering into the mould cavity. We have
also seen that these are the elements of the
gating system; one is the Pouring cup, Sprue,
next the Sprue well, next the Runner, Runner
extension, Ingates these are also known as
the gates and finally, the riser. So, we have
seen the significance of different elements of
the gating system.
