Animating Text and Object

There are four types of animations that can be applied to objects in a slideshow presentation: entrance effects control how an object enters a slide, emphasis effects occur while an object is on a slide, exit effects control how an object leaves a slide, and motion paths allow an object to move along a predetermined path within a slide. To apply an animation, select the object and choose an effect from the Animations tab. Some effects have additional options that can be customized. Animations are removed by selecting the number next to the animated object and pressing delete.

Animating Text and Objects

Anamation
An animation is the ability to move objects in a slide
without your direct intervention during a presentation. It is a
way of bringing objects, such as text and pictures, to life on
the screen, controlling and sequencing how text and other
slide objects emerge onto the screen during a presentation-
sliding in form the right or left, or fading in, and so forth.
The Four Types of Animations
There are several animations effects you can choose from, and they are organized into
four types.

1. Entrance
This controls how the Object enters the slide

2. Emphasis
This animation occurs while the object is on the slide, often triggered by a mouse click
3. Exit
This controls how the object exist the slide.

4. Motion Paths
These are like Emphasis effects, except the object moves within the slide along
a predetermined path, like a circle.
To apply an animation to an object:
1.Select the object you want to animate.
2. On the Animations tab, click the More drop-down arrow in the
Animation group.
3. A drop-down menu of animation effect will appear. Select the desire
effect.
4. The effect will apply to the object. The object will have a small number
next to it to show that it has an animation. In the Slide pane, a star symbol
also will appear next to the slide.
Effect Options
Some effects will have options you can change. For example, with the Fly
In effect you can control which direction the object comes from. These
option can be accessed from the Effect options command in the Animation
group.

Removing an Animation
1. Select the small number located next to the animated object and press the
Delete key.
