Attitudes applied Freezing Panes in Google Sheets
Allows users to keep rows, columns,
or a combination of both, allowing users to still access any information entered in them as they are fixed and on display as one scrolls vertically and horizontally. Freezing Columns, Rows, or a combination of both
● Select the cell you wish to set as the
border for freezing ● Under the “View” tab, you will find the “Freeze” option ● You can choose one of the eight possible choices as seen in the image to your right Freezing Columns, Rows, or a combination of both
● “No rows” and “No columns”
removes any previously frozen cells ● Choosing “Up to current row/column” will freeze the column and/or row based on the currently selected cell ● You may combine one rule for row and another rule for the column Conditional Formatting Applied when users want cells to change their appearance or content based on an applied set of rules How does Conditional Formatting even work?
When using Conditional Formatting, the selected
cells will change based on parameters set by the user
Multiple rules can be applied to the cells
If a number entered in a cell is a value from 51 to 100 for
example, the cell will be highlighted green. If not, the cell will be yellow instead. Applying Conditional Formatting
● Highlight the cell/cells you wish to
apply conditional formatting to and right click ● The option for conditional formatting will bring up the tab on the right of your screen Applying Conditional Formatting

pre-set rule wherein colors will be determined based on a numerical scale
