taking skills. Perspective taking is a complex and multifaceted socio-cognitive
process that enables the individual to understand a situation from another’s
perspective. The concept of perspective taking is divided into perceptual,
cognitive, and emotional components (Aslan & Köksal Akyol, 2016; Healey and
Grossman, 2018). Cognitive perspective taking is the ability to understand other
people’s thoughts, motivations, and intentions. Perceptual perspective taking
refers to the ability to make inferences about how objects are viewed from
different locations in a space, while emotional perspective taking refers to the
ability to comprehend the emotional states of another person and provides a basis
for empathy (Cigala et al., 2015; Moll and Meltzoff, 2011).Think like the author
