What we see today

You may have noticed that computer science is an


incredible area of study.

Advances in computer science are having a massive


impact on a wide variety of research fields,
technologies and areas within our daily lives.

Computer science is changing the world and changing


our lives.
What are some advancements that you have noticed?
All around us are these amazing inventions and
technologies that are possible because of computer
science.
What we see today

★ Lawn sprinkles respond to dry conditions and lawn mowers can


be programmed to stay within the confines of the yard.
★ Self-driving cars are already logging hundreds of thousands of
test kilometres on public roads. Sensors, artificial intelligence
and machine learning are some of the technologies that will
make hands on the steering wheel a thing of the past.
★ Drones can be used for so many things, including monitoring
traffic,reaching disaster areas, and surveying wildlife.
★ Communication technologies used to interact with people
from across the global
★ Computer that monitor the climate and weather . They
accurately predict weather conditions

Parallel Processing
