 Switch Types Observed:


 Huawei 24 and 48 port switches
 Software Type Used For Configuration
 Tera Term
 PuTTY
 Basic Configuration Tasks:
 Manage Switch Name
 Create User Name And Password
 Configure Port
 IP Address and VLAN setup.
Switch Installation
Installation Process:
 Physical installation of Rack
 Install the Switches and Patch Panel in the Rack
 Power the Switches and Patch Panel
 Patching
 Connect the Switches to the Patch Panel with Fiber Cables
Offices and Labs LAN Design
Lab Design Considerations:
 Draw the physical layout using pencil
 Sketch using software: Software Used: Wondershare EdrawMax
 Proper placement of Rack and Computers
 High-speed Ethernet connectivity for multiple Computers.
 Integration with Wi-Fi and Add Printer For offices.
UTP Cable Crimping
Crimping Tools and Process:

 Tools: Crimping tool, RJ45 connectors, cable tester.

 Crimping steps: Strip, untwist, insert wires, crimp, and test.


Data Center
Key Components
 Server : High-performance machines for data processing,
storage, and applications
 Network Switches : Manage data traffic between servers
and external networks.
 Storage Systems : redundant hard drives and SSDs

Supporting System
 Power System: Redundant power supplies and
uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for continuous operation.
 Cooling System: Advanced cooling techniques like CRAC
units and precision cooling
