Established through Act in 1964. Started operations from 1st Jan,1965. VISION: Ensuring Food security for citizens of country. Objectives are as follows: Fair price for farmers for their produce. Distribution of Food grains through PDS. Maintaining Buffer Stock & Price Stabilization in market.
