1 DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY
The associative property is when numbers is the same no matter how the
numbers are grouped. This is true in addition and multiplication. The parenthesis
tell us the terms that are considered one unit. An example would be when you
have (7 x 4) x 3 and then you use the associative property on it it becomes 7 x (4 x
3), In other words the parenthesis change but the product stays the same. (4 x 7) x
3= 3 x (2 x 4). you can only do this with multiplication and addition problems.
