Since 1973, Jubilee Housing has provided safe, affordable housing and supportive
services to low-income citizens in the dams-!organ neighborhood of "ashington #$%$
&tilizing housing as the fundamental building bloc' around which the other important
elements of life can grow, the (esident )ife #epartment at Jubilee offers a number of
programs, services, events and one-on-one coaching to support residents in achieving
their goals and enhancing their *ualit+ of life$
,he vision for the -amil+ (esource %enter .-(%/ is to provide a caring space where
families can come to learn, share resources and grow with the support of caring staff and
peers$ 0ow in its pilot phase, the -amil+ (esource %enter .-(%/ is a collaborative effort
lead b+ Jubilee Housing, an affordable housing and service provider1 and Jubilee
Jumpstart, an innovative earl+ childhood development center$ ,he two organizations are
wor'ing together to develop a comprehensive continuum of support called the 0ewborn
to %ollege and %areer 2ipeline .03%/$ ,he 2ipeline is intended to increase the impact,
scale and effectiveness of services to families b+ ma4imizing the strengths of each
organization and its partners$ s a component of the 0ewborn to %ollege 2ipeline, the
-(% will ta'e a multi-generational approach to ensure that each member of low-income
families has the 'nowledge, s'ills, and resources to reach his or her fullest potential and
contribute positivel+ to the communit+$
,he -(% 2rogram !anager will provide direct service support to families in the
0ewborn to %ollege 2ipeline and help lead the -(% from its current pilot phase into a
full+ operational program$ successful 2rogram !anager will possess strong
relationship building s'ills, be familiar with child and +outh development framewor's,
and have a 'nac' for connecting people, needs and services$ ,he 2rogram !anager will
supervise an emerging team of famil+ liaisons, be responsible for additional famil+
support activities, collect and anal+ze data and communicate to sta'eholders about
program outcomes$

Principle responsibilities include:

2lan and implement research-based programming and services that support
families and individuals to succeed
!anage and develop communit+ partnerships to support the goals of the 0ewborn
to %ollege 2ipeline
%oordinate regular meetings with the famil+ support team and communit+
partners in Jubilee5s 0ewborn to %ollege and %areer 2ipeline
#evelop and oversee a process for regular communication and information
sharing among 'e+ sta'eholders including6 -amilies, Jubilee Jumpstart, Jubilee
Housing and communit+ partners

Supervise an emerging team of famil+ liaisons

Qualifications:
!inimum of 9 +ears wor'ing with low-income families including some
supervisor+ e4perience
#emonstrated success in communicating and wor'ing well with diverse groups of
sta'eholders including6 parents, children, volunteers, communit+ partners,
funders, #% government and more
!ust undergo a comprehensive bac'ground chec', including clearances for the
0ational Se4 :ffender (egistr+ and the #istrict of %olumbia %hild 2rotection
(egistr+, as well as -;< ;ac'ground chec's
Strong leadership and organizational s'ills
bilit+ to networ' and develop effective partnerships to support programming
%ommitment to implementing an evidence based program and a proven trac'
record of results
=nowledge of #% school s+stems and educational resources
