SUBMITTED TO: MR. ATHAR IQBAL

The purpose of making the report is to launch a small business in which we need
to take a loan of Rs.200,000 from the bank at an interest rate of Kibor+2%. And
we are investing our own Rs. 400,000 in that business.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We are starting a new business, which is School that will provide education from
playgroup to primary classes. The name of the school is Royal Model Grammar
School. That will be located at Saddar Karachi. In this School we are planning to
provide quality education to the students. Our aim is to provide quality education
to the students and make their base strong so that in future they work hard and
do something for the betterment of this nation. The School building will be rented
which is located at Saddar Karachi and which consists of 15 rooms including
offices of different faculty. There will be eight rooms for different classes, one
room for library, one room for computer lab, one room for principal office, one
room for teachers, one room for indoor games, two rooms to make an auditorium
which will be used to organize different educational related programmes at
School.
LOCATION ADVANTAGES:
The advantage of the location of this school is it is near in the heart of city. All the
students of this will not have any difficulty in reaching this school. They can easily
access this school through private or public conveyance. It is in the place which
is always in the eyes of government, new projects of government often applied
over here. Roads in this area are clean which help students to reach at university
on time. There is always good security system over there which make the

parents of the students comfortable about their child. In this area there is no such
school which provides education as we think of providing. Another benefit of this
location is in this area rent is low as compared to other areas in Karachi so we
can have a beautiful building having big rooms at a very low cost.
DISADVANTAGES OF LOCATION:
The biggest disadvantage of this location is it is in the crowded area where
parents might think before sending their children to this school. Another
disadvantage of this location is it might not so much space for car parking near
the area.
TARGET MARKET:
As far as school business is concerned the target market is the students of ages
from 2.5 years till 12 years. Parents are also the target market of our school
business because if parents are satisfied with the school quality education and
staff then they will happily send their children to our school and it is the word of
mouth that will spread and we will have chance to have more students in our
school which will generate more profit and more revenue to our organization. As
far as target market is concerned we have targeted the students searching
quality education in their area but they did not find it so that we hire a place in the
heart of the city so the students from most of the places of the city can easily
access to this school.

MARKETING STRATEGY:
The marketing strategy of our business is to market quality education. We hire
qualified and experienced faculty members from different already established
schools which lead to us and give us competitive advantage over our
competitors. As far as marketing strategy for our business is concerned we focus
on quality education that is our strength and that is the secret of our strategy. We
are focusing on quality education that will help us to win customers from our
competitors, then keep and grow them by delivering greater value. We have
segmented our target market from play group till primary education because we
know one single organization cannot fulfill all requirements of a customer so that
we focus on quality education that will lead our organization toward more
profitable business in the city and in the long run in the country.
SUSTAINABLE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:
Our school has competitive advantage of location because our school is situated
at the heart of the city where student from different parts of the city can easily
come and study in our school. Our school also has another competitive
advantage which is peaceful and healthy environment for study which will lead
our organization to be more profitable organization or more profitable business in
the city. Our qualified and experienced teaching faculty is another competitive
advantage to us. As far as our target market is concerned we segmented our
target market to play group till primary education so that we can focus on quality
education and we can powerfully fulfill our promise. The location we have chosen
for our school is another competitive advantage to us over our competitors.

Because, it is just in the heart of city which will help us to be more powerful in
school business. Overall we have sustainable competitive advantage over our
competitors.
