Petracarbon is looking for talented and capable mechanical engineer(s) to develop a


range of flange management products for global distribution. Petracarbon has been in
the flange management business for over 20 years and is continually focused on
improving its products. Petracarbon has a full machining center facility. Attractive
remuneration offered.

Mechanical and Product Engineer


Responsibilities of this individual include:

Develop design concepts and specifications for products.

Develop detailed design drawings for mechanical equipment.

Responsibility will be for mechanical design which includes structural, mechanical


and hydraulic.

Sourcing and purchase parts and material, generate costing, drafting parts and
maintenance manuals.

Determine manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures to ensure designs


perform as required.

Initiate prototype review and correct design flaws.

Visit customers and vendors for product QC and follow-up; assist to product
issues.

Provide Technical Support for new brochures/websites.

Ensure all drawings, bill of materials, quality checks are completed as per project
schedule.

What we are looking for:

Four year experience in Mechanical Automation or Mechanical Design for Oil and
Gas Products.

Possess a good creative flair and a high level of self confidence and motivation

Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCad.

Knowledge of hydraulic mechanisms and systems is required.

Have a sound knowledge of engineering design principles.

Have a understanding knowledge of material properties.

Have an understanding of manufacturing processes and steel fabrications.

Knowledge of ANSYS and FLUENT CFD software is a bonus.

Mechanical engineering degree preferred. OEM experience highly desired.

High sense of ownership and responsibility.

Ability to exercise resolve, judgment and initiative managing a team.

Strong leadership skills with track record of driving initiatives.

Project management, process planning, or supply management background is


extremely beneficial.
