and Teaching: Commented (AK1) : Public Schools - Plural
My youngest brother got low marks last semester so, my father had to take him to study in a
private school instead of a public school although my father will pay a lot of money to the private school.
Governments spend a lot of money to build up and support public schools. Public schools are the best
choice to study on but sometimes it cannot provide a good quality education to its students. Therefore, Commented [AK1]: public schools - plural
private education should be allowed in developing countries because, public schools sometimes fail to
teach children basic skills and always constrained by external pressures.
To begin with, Public schools often fail to teach children basic literacy skills. Some teachers do not
take their responsibilities to teach the student sincerely. Some countries in Africa, its government can
construct a lot of new schools but on the other hand they cannot exclude the bad teacher from the school
(The Economist, 2012). As this will lead students to fail to know basic skills like reading and writing. The
Economist (2015) states that common four-year students in some part of South Africa and Africa still
cannot read very well. In addition to that, teachers are always absent in public schools, and because of
that they usually attempt to teach students very fast to recover the classes they missed which eventually
lead to poor teaching.
Secondly, public schools are always constrained by external pressures. Corruptions by education
officers and other parties involved in the school operation like when a teacher want to improve something
or want to complain about something. They usually will not give a full commitment and they usually will
not give any attention to it. On top of that, public school sometimes does not get enough financial support.
For example, lack of money when a school wants to maintain the laboratories inside the school. In
contrast, private schools provide all the equipment and tools that are needed to make the teaching
process more interesting and more creative. For example, providing a teacher with a smart device to look
for many teaching materials, which can be obtained from the school server (The Economist, 2015).
Some people think that monitoring and control will be in lacking in private school. People own
these private schools and they supervise them. The government does not monitor this kind of school very Commented [AK2]: what do you mean by "People"?
well so, these schools tends to exaggerate for the tuition fees. However, private schools are able to Who?
operate very well even though they are not monitored by centralized authorities. They usually follow
some rules and standards in their operation to accomplish their work. Which makes the process of
education in private school more efficient than public school.
In conclusion, studying at public school is not a good idea sometimes. Some public schools may
not educate their students the foundation knowledge and sometimes these schools cannot do anything
due to the external pressures because of that, the private school in developing countries must be allowed. Commented [AK3]: Your conclusion is too short. You only
have the rephrase of your thesis statement. You need to
add soem recap of your main points and also a final
concluding statement to end your conlusion paragraph.

Dependency on technology brings a lot of positive effect to modern society
My dad had a problem with his car when I was in Malaysia. Luckily, I know how to fix the problem
but, I was far away from them so, he had to use a video calling app to talk to me about how to solve the
problem. The world today is like a small village thanks to technology. The process of communication has
become very fast to all part of the world, which has greatly affected human life and it increase comfort,
and in the same time it reduce hardship in many things. The world now depends entirely on the
technology. Therefore, dependency on technology brings many positive effects to our community such as
improving our communication and increase workers productivity.
To begin with, technology makes the communication easier and more effective between people.
We can communicate with each other anywhere anytime without the need to wait for the receiver to
receive and replay to our messages. For example, we can conduct a virtual meeting for employees of
different branches so; they do not have to waste their time in traveling and spending more money on
accommodation. This can be done when all participant in the meeting sit and interact instantly in front of
a computer while they are in different places. The type of virtual meeting depends on the tools that has
been used in these meetings. Another example of easier communication would be, when parents use GPS
technology to track their children when they are far away from home to check on them (Huffingtonpost,
2015). Communication also gives us the ability to communicate with other organization more effectively.
For example, when a student wants to renew his/her visa and regularly wants to know the state of the
visa application. In this case, they do not have to go to the international office and ask about the current
state of the visa. They can just check it using EMGS website.
Secondly, technology makes the work in a company more flexible and more productive.
Employees can finish their work at their house during outside work hours. As the conversation (2016)
states that, smartphones increase the chance of being available online most of the time and it also,
grantee that they will do the work at home. Workers are more productive when they are able to surf the
internet. Surfing the internet boosts the employees productivity, which eventually lead them to be more
creative in the workplace. For example, during non-operation hours the employees will not receive any
messages regarding the work like Volkswagen in Germany (The conversation, 2016).
On the other hand, there is some people think that technology has some drawback. Young people
tent to use their smartphones for long time without minding the time that has been spent on these
devices. The conversation (2016) stats that youth these days in Australia cannot imagine the world
without their gadgets. However, this problem can be solved by educating these teenagers about the
consequences about it and also, by setting up some rules on the way of using these gadgets.
In conclusion, technology makes our world faster and leaning on, has many good results on
humanity. From keeping in touch with people to make the employees in companies more active.
Technology change our way in life rapidly and it will change our life in future. Technology is as anything
else in this world it can be as good as to bring peace to our world or it can be as bad as to ruin the world.
It is not always the fault of the technology itself is how we as a human we use it.
