operation, alarm will occur to notify
omitted operation.
Restart infusion
When is pressed again, infusion
restarts. At this time, the following actions
are noticed.
・Action lamp lights.
・Flow indicator displays flow.
・Volume limit changes to volume infused.
25
Perform purge
Purge is used to prime tubing of IV set or to
temporarily perform large volume infusion.
26
Clear Volume infused
1 It is possible to clear volume infused only
when infusion is stopped.
When infusion is continued, press first
to stop infusion, and then press .
Daily use

turned off.
27
Confirm Volume infused or Volume limit
When infusion is stopped, volume limit is
displayed. When infusion is continued, When infusion is stopped
volume infused is displayed. When infusion is continued
28
Adjust Flow rate
A flow rate may cause a big tolerance with the following reasons. When
more accurate infusion is required, adjust the flow rate, accordingly.
●Tolerance by high surface tension of solution
●Remarkable tolerance in production for IV set
●Deterioration in tubing of IV set by long time use
Daily use
1% step.
Reference
Calculation of Adjustment value from Volume infused and Actual Infused volume
Calculate the actual infused volume from the residual Example: Suppose that when the actual
volume infused was approx. 150 mL, the
volume and the adjustment value:
displayed volume infused was 200 mL;
Displayed Actual
volume infused−volume infused (200- 150)÷ 200× 100≒ 25
×100=Adjustment value
Displayed volume infused (%) Adjustment value: 25%
29
Confirm IV set setting after adjustment
When flow rate adjustment is not performed (0%), type of IV set is always
displayed on LCD. But, when adjusted, type of IV set turns off and
adjustment value is displayed, instead.
Operate on battery
Under the following conditions, lights and the operation is carried out by Battery.
●While Power cord is disconnected, power is turned on.
●While the operation on AC power is performed, AC power fails.
●While the operation on AC power is performed, Power cord is disconnected.
