Hi friends,

I am Vivekkumar Shivhare and I am here to share my mindtree interview experience with


you guys. First of all I want to thanks Vector and its whole staff for providing such awesome
platform and environment.

As most of us already know the selection process has total 4 rounds


1) Written test
2)Programming test
3)Technical face to face interview
4)HR round

1)written test : Written test was conducted by amcat so all sections were same as amcat test....
e.g...
Aptitude
Logical reasoning
Verbal

Guys you really have to start working on these topics because this was the main elimination
round.
Among 54 of us only 5 got shortlisted after this round.Rest of the work was easy but this was
main barrier.

2)programming test : They have given us three options like...whether we want to go for
c program / c++ program / java program

You can chose the language you are most comfortable with,c programming was the obvious
choice for me since I am good at it.
There were two programs among which one was easy basic one while other one was
difficult(WAP to evaluate average time of processes in round robbin system).

[note : don't worry maybe this one was not elimination round ;) ]
3)Technical : This round took around 40 minutes.They asked many questions from
C,Linux,8051,DS etc..
apart from this they also asked few non technical questions..

4)HR round : This round lasted for only 10 minutes.Here I have enlisted few questions which I
could recall and were asked to me

while this round.

-Tell me about yourself.


-Where u wanna see yourself in future?
-Which are the qualities a leader should have?
-Why vector,Why embedded?
-Which is most difficult thing you have faced in your entire life experience till now?
-How did you overcame it?
-Can you take initiative in certain situation?
and many more

Just answer every question confidentially,be professional and keep situation under control.
Flow of interview should be under your command.You should know how to direct interview
toward topics in which you are strong and apart from all these things just keep one thing in mind
guys
"Plant will give flowers once spring will come...so just keep pouring water and leave rest of the
things on god"
I had seen many of my colleagues getting depressed and desperate for job. I want to advice
them to keep some patience because you need to stabilize your mind for interview and this type
of attitude will not help it.

Just keep working ,Have positive attitude....WE ARE VECTORIANS AND WE HAVE THE
SPARK :)
