I. IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

PROJECT NAME: Fencing of Iram II Elementary School

PROJECT SITE: Iram II Elementary School, Old Cabalan, Olongapo City

PROPONENT: Sandy T. Cabarle, Ed.D.

PROJECT PERIOD: February 5, 2018-onwards

II. RATIONALE

Iram II Elementary School is a far-flung school located at Sitio Mampueng, Old Cabalan,
Olongapo City. It has only 7 classrooms that cater pupils from Kinder to Grade 6, who are
mostly indigenous people.

It was observed that the school is very much accessible to stray animals who tend to
destroy plants and even leave traces of dirt and feces which become a problem of the school
in maintaining its cleanliness. Furthermore, the school is also prone to burglary at night and
intrusion during class hours; thus, putting the security of our pupils in peril.

Anent to this, the construction of school fencing becomes one significant priority project
of the school in order to address the existing problems. By securing the school with fences, a
more conducive learning environment becomes at hand.
III. PROJECT PURPOSE

This project proposes to provide the school with the following opportunities;

1. To secure the school from the risk brought about by possible burglary and intrusion.
2. To maintain the cleanliness of the school by getting rid of stray animals’ feces.
3. To provide a conducive learning environment to pupils.

IV. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The projects aims to provide complete fencing for Iram II Elementary School which
could be of great significance in providing security for the school; thus making it a more
conducive learning environment for the pupils.

Funds for this project will be coming from the private stakeholder through the initiative
of its proponent, Dr. Sandy T. Cabarle, Teacher-In-Charge of the school.

V. PLANNED ACTIONS AND ACTVITIES

The following actions with corresponding activities are set to ensure the success of the
project:

Coordination with the Division Office Engineer April 12, 2018
for the possible fencing of the school
Preparation of Project Proposal for the identified April 14-15, 2018
school priority project
Submission of Project Proposal to the Division April 16, 2018

VI. PROJECT COSTS AND PROPOSED SOURCES OF FUNDING

Project Cost: Php 450,000

VII. EXPECTED OUTPUT AND EFFECTS AND ITS OUTCOMES

Possible accomplishment of this project could essentially provide complete security


to Iram II Elementary School. The proposed fencing will surely help the school in maintaining
its cleanliness and will relieve its possible exposure from dangers; thus, making it a more
conducive learning environment for the pupils.
