Drainage System Calculation: Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed A. H. Al MOHANNADI-Private Villa
AL
MOHANNADI-Private Villa
Sanitary drainage will be designed on the two pipe system basis where
two separate stacks for waste and soil are executed. Soil stacks will have
proper ventilation and waste stacks will have proper water traps through
gull-traps before connected to main sewage system.
All piping, fitting, and pipe risers shall be located in service shafts. All
shafts will be provided with access panels
The rain water design will be based on the heaviest rainfall record
in Qatar during the last ten years. As such the rainfall run-off shall
be based on a rainfall rate of 200 mm per year.
Building rainwater drainage will be collected from the roofs at
different levels through roof connected to rain water stacks.
The pipes roof drains will be sized properly to cover the expected
water run-off.
Pipes will be laid at slopes steep enough to provide a minimum
self-cleaning velocity of 0.75m/sec.
