Every Annual Session of Club LiQuiD commences with the traditional Fresher's Debate
Challenge. It was a similar case this time. However, the difference was that this time we had
the enthusiastic Law students who took part in good numbers.
The Tournament saw particularly good motions and equally good debates. Topics like Strong
Democracy vs Weak Dictatorship, Euthanasia, Ruling Countries in the past having to pay
Reparations to Colonial countries etc. were discussed.
Last year, HackBMU 2.0 garnered huge attention with 20+ teams from all over the country.
Also, we aimed to close the gender gap in hackathon participation and encouraged female
participants to join up by reserving seats especially for them. The response was
overwhelming, and nearly half of our participants were women.

series and provide them knowledge about the software interface and its utility.
• ANSYS Simulation Learning – Date – Sept 21, 2018 Venue – ANSYS Lab In this, we
provided ANSYS student version and other study materials which are useful for simulation
and analysis perspective. In this we had provided students from 1st and 2nd year to work on
small case studies as well.
• IC Engine Workshop – Date – Oct 5, 2018 Venue – Design Lab This workshop was aimed
to organized to provide students in depth view of research areas in IC Engine segment and the
people who were hold the workshop were from 2015 Mechanical batch. We have received
some interesting inputs from the participants and the outcome was significant.

Our journey took its path on August 2019 with selection of team members. We conducted an
interview for our freshers and recruited them into the team. Freshers were assigned to work
with seniors to improve their knowledge and capabilities. We assigned 4 months of time to
complete all non-technical stuff which refers to design and analysis of chassis, designing of
suspension and simulating it to our requirements, servicing of our engine, designing of wheel
assembly components like design of wishbones, hub and brake calliper with brake rotter. We
also gathered details of steering components and calculated length of tie rods needed, turning
radius of steering and ratio of rack and pinion as needed. This work was done by different
groups of our team. In the month of January, we started with the technical work. At first, we
began to fabricate our chassis using Aluminium as it has preferred weight to strength ratio.
Construction of chassis includes:
1.Getting printed design sheet.
2.cutting or grinding of metal according to lengths.
3. Assembling all rods together by welding.
We used TIG welding as per prescribed rules. It took 3 months to complete our chassis. After
chassis we manufactured wheel assembly includes wishbones, hubs, brake rotors for all four
wheels. After arranging the steering system and adjusting the turning radius of car we went to
the assembly of engine. For manufacturing of car, we used aluminium and steel in major
areas. After completing the manufacturing process, we finally arrived to the testing stage of
our car. At last We made our path in a right way to our event.

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation and/or
academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the
United Nations. MUN involves and teaches participants speaking, debating, and writing skills, in
addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Participants of MUN are known
as delegates, who represent the view point of a country on a global issue. It was a 2day event
during the 67th milestone 2019.
Hult Prize is the world’s biggest engine for the launch of for-good, for-profit startups. Within a
decade, the movement has deployed more than $50 Million of capital into the sector and mobilized
more than one million young people to re-think the future of business as it continues to breed
disruptive innovation across 100 plus countries. The Hult Prize Foundation called as ”Nobel Prize
for Students” and has been featured in a TIME Magazine Cover Story highlighting the “Top 5 Ideas
Changing the World.”
“The Hult Prize is a wonderful example of the creative cooperation needed to build a world with
shared opportunity, shared responsibility, and shared prosperity, and each year I look forward to
seeing the many outstanding ideas the competition produces” – Bill Clinton
In partnership with the United Nations, the Hult Prize hosts college and university events around
the world in search of the next game-changing start-up.
In the previous edition of Hult Prize @BMU, out of 39 teams which competed in the preliminary
and the final round, ‘The Four Horsemen’ emerged as winners for their innovative business model
which aimed to revolutionize the rural healthcare industry. They went on to represent BMU in the
regional finals and presented their idea on the international platform of Hult in Singapore.
For the second time in a row, BML Munjal University has been selected to host the local
edition of Hult Prize 2019 as students answer the United Nations Challenge and go head-to-
head for USD $1Million.
CTF (Capture The Flag):-
CTF (Capture The Flag) is a kind of information security competition that challenges
contestants to solve a variety of tasks ranging from a scavenger hunt on wikipedia to basic
programming exercises, to hacking your way into a server to steal data. In these challenges,
the contestant is usually asked to find a specific piece of text that may be hidden on the server
or behind a webpage. This goal is called the flag, hence the name!
Like many competitions, the skill level for CTFs varies between the events. Some are
targeted towards professionals with experience operating on cyber security teams. These
typically offer a large cash reward and can be held at a specific physical location. Other
events target the high school and college student range, sometimes offering monetary support
for education to those that place highly in the competition!
CTFtime details the different types of CTF. To summarize, Jeopardy style CTFs provide a list
of challenges and award points to individuals or teams that complete the challenges, groups
with the most points wins. Attack/Defense style CTFs focus on either attacking an opponent's
servers or defending one's own. These CTFs are typically aimed at those with more
experience and are conducted at a specific physical location.
CTFs can be played as an individual or in teams so feel free to get your friends onboard!
I'd like to stress that CTFs are available to everyone. Many challenges do not require
programming knowledge and are simply a matter of problem solving and creative thinking.
Challenge types
Jeopardy style CTFs challenges are typically divided into categories. I'll try to briefly cover
the common ones.
