Configuration check of the PMAT 2000 for EIU software upgrade:

- Go to main menu:

- Select PMAT 2000 minimum configuration:

-
Check of PMAT 2000 software update level:

- Ensure that:

 Loadstar software (software PMAT) is at Version 34 (i.e v34) minimum.


 PDL 615 data loader is at minimum version 8 (i.e v8) minimum.

- Once above software status is convenient for EIU software upgrade, exit from “PIMAT
2000 CONFIGURATION” menu by selecting “GO BACK” in bottom right.
EIU software loading on PMAT 2000 Hard Drive (Recommended prior to EIU upgrade):

- Connect CD reader

- Go to Main menu and select “LOADSTAR”

- Into LOADSTAR Library select “LOCATE LOAD”.


- Select “CD reader”

Once “CD Reader” is selected

- Go to “INSTALL SOFTWARE” option

- Once in Install software sub menu

o Get load from “CD ROM”


- Select CD ROM then press “SCAN”

- Then select item to import and press “IMPORT”


- New load directory menu appears
- Select the EIU from PMAT HD (new directory)
Then on the new sub menu:

- Select EIU Software


- Select Aircraft Model
- Select Aircraft computer (EIU)

- Then press “NEXT” to load the software on the PMAT 2000 Hard Drive.
Then “Installing software” page appears on the screen.
- Once EIU software is loaded on the HD, “Loadstar complete” message appears:
- Then press “OK”

You’ll be then redirected automatically to the “LOADSTAR LIBRARY” menu


- Then press “LOGOFF LOADSTAR” (bottom left)

- Then, you’ll be in position to upgrade EIU software on aircraft with the support of AMM
task 73-25-34-860-805-A Check and Uploading of the EIU Software.

Note: for the EIU upgrade (software) on aircraft, you’ll have to use EIU software
loaded on the PMAT and for this you’ll have to go through PMAT menu as follow:

- Select PDL615 DATALOADING menu


- Select source
- PMAT 2000 mass storage
