SERIES OF 2020

AN ORDER RECOSNTITUTING MUNICIPAL INSPECTORATE TEAM IN THE


MUNICIPALITY OF KALAYAAN, LAGUNA

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA7160), the
Local Government has jurisdiction over all programs and projects designated for the promotion
and general welfare of its constituents;

WHEREAS, RA 9184 IRR Section 3 (e) Public monitoring of the procurement process and the
implementation of awarded contracts with the end in view of guaranteeing that these contracts
are awarded pursuant to the provisions of the Act and that all these contracts/ purchased goods
are performed strictly according to specifications.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SANDY P. LAGANAPAN, Municipal Mayor of Kalayaan, Laguna, by


virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby organize and mobilize Municipal
Inspectorate Team of Kalayaan, Laguna as follows.

Section 1 Creation of the Municipal Inspectorate Team: There is hereby created in the
municipality the Inspectorate Team.

Section 2. Composition: The Municipal Inspectorate Team shall be composed of the following:

Chairperson: ENGR. RUEL R. RAGAS,Municipal Engineer


Members:
ENGR. BIBOY MENDOZA, Municipal Engineer’s Office
GIZZELLE M. FERNANDEZ ,OIC-Municipal Accountant’s Office
LIZA L. YEE, Municipal Agriculture’s Office
REINELSA B. CORPUZ, Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Office
MA. CONCEPCION E. MACATANGGA , General Services Office
MARIFI M. MACAWALI, MEE
PAUL NINO RABUTAZO, Staff

Section 3. Functions: The Inspectorate Team shall have the following functions:

1. Monitor the materials expediting/inspection activities.


2. Ensure material delivered is inspected for conformance to specifications.
3. Receive and review purchase requisitions.
4. Ensure quality materials/services delivered/rendered.
5.Inspect and submit a punch-list to contractor in preparation for the final turn-over of the project
in accordance with section 7 of Annex E of the revised IRR of RA 9182 once the project reaches
an accomplishment of ninety-five percent (95%) of the total contract amount.

Section 4. Separability Clause –Any provision of this Executive Order declared illegal shall not
nullify the other provisions hereof provided that the remaining provisions can be given force and
effect to accomplish the objectives of this Executive Order.

Section 5. Effectivity. This Executive Order shall take effect upon its signing.
