1. What is biomechanics and how is it different from the two common


meanings of kinesiology?

Biomechanics is the study of living body and its mechanics it is much more focused

and limited, concerning itself almost solely to the type of movements and form,

technique, required to perform an exercise. While the kinesiology is comprehensive

study, or science of the physical body undergoing movement and exercise and doing

physical work.

2. Biomechanical knowledge is useful for solving what kinds of


problems?

Human Movement problems, specifically related to injury prevention and improving

fitness and human movement.

3. How biomechanics can help you as future professional in the field of


sports and health?

It can helps us in the future by knowing and analyzing the physiological mechanics of

human movement. It can help us to apply it in the future to improve the performance

of athletic by applying and identifying the optimal technique and to prevent injury and

to speed up recovery.
