processes, we’d like to hear from you! We’re looking for a Global Operations/Supply Chain
Manager with primary accountability to ensure day-to-day, end-to-end logistics management.
This involves daily decision-making, planning, and inventory management, as well as proactive
review and suggestions on process improvement.

    NUDESTIX is a fast growing, entrepreneurial color cosmetics brand founded by beauty veteran
Jenny Frankel and her two daughters. NUDESTIX offers a collection of easy-to-apply, no fuss
multipurpose crayons in nude shades. The brand’s motto “go nude but better” emphasizes the
“less is more” philosophy of using makeup to enhance one’s unique beauty rather that covering it
up.

About the Opportunity

The Global Operations/Supply Chain Manager is responsible for assisting in logistical functions
associated with domestic and international inbound and outbound delivery of finished goods
and promotional items, as well as the import and export compliance of same entering into North
America, Europe and Asia from different parts of the world. The successful candidate will be
responsible for booking shipments online and over the phone, managing inbound PO’s,
providing on-time updates to internal customers, entering data, solving issues, providing ETA
information to our vendors, stores and warehouses and following up, while ensuring on time
delivery.

Your Responsibilities

 Coordinates the daily Logistics activities of transportation, import/export, customs


compliance, shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a manner that provides an
uninterrupted flow of material to all customers.
 Coordinates supply planning activities in order to guarantee the availability of stock while
taking care of the optimization of flows and procurement parameters
 Ensures all documentation and processes are handled accurately and according to both
internal Quality System procedures and external regulatory requirements.
 Ensures all required domestic or international paperwork is accurately completed, filed
and communicated to all necessary parties
 Establishes and maintains effective relationships with carriers, 3PL providers, brokers,
customs, regulatory and government agencies, working collaboratively to ensure issue-free
border crossings, on-time arrival, and cost-effective operations.
 Implement and maintain best practices in demand forecasting and planning, order
management, supply and inventory management, Sales and Operations Planning, 3rd party
relationships, and develop and implement strategic procurement activities in collaboration
with operational buyers
 Utilize quantitative skills to analyze, validate, manipulate and manage large amounts of
data specific to problem solving and trend analysis reporting.
 efine a usable set of supply chain, inventory and cost improvement KPIs that are
complementary for each team and aligned to objectives; Develop the KPIs to ensure they
reflect current performance, are used to identify issues and tracking to objectives and that
help prioritize improvements.
 Identify potential cost savings opportunities based on process, past acquisition costs and
implement process changes to realize savings; identify other potential cost savings
opportunities based on past consumption and spend for potential cost reductions
 Reviews invoices received from vendors and brokers relating to imports / exports for
accuracy, making sure entries are made properly, and report discrepancies to correspondent
broker office as needed for correction
 Researches, analyzes, assigns and maintains import/export Harmonized Tariff
classifications, country of origin, and value information.
 Analyzes, recommends, and implements plans to improve process flows, optimize the
utilization of staff and resources, and reduce supply chain operating costs.
 Tracks and resolves problems involving damaged or poor-quality goods, incorrect orders,
and missing goods and the quick reporting of such issues to QA, Finance, Production and
Purchasing Departments accordingly.
 Responsible for accuracy and same day reporting of all Proof of Delivery Forms (POD’s) to
Finance for invoicing.
 Work with all stakeholders effectively managing new product launches delivering within
agreed timescales & budgets.
 Monitor and maintain accurate and complete transportation, receiving and shipping logs
as defined and required by organizational policy
 Effective management of all aspects of the day to day operations of the transportation
team

Your Qualifications

 Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management, or equivalent


experience
 3-5 years of experience working in Logistics and Customs Compliance
 Knowledge of global logistics practices required
 Experienced with Customs Brokerages and international transportation/logistics
experience with an excellent understanding of import/export regulations
 Knowledge of Canadian, U.S. and Global Regulations in relation to the cosmetics industry
an asset
 Demonstrated business knowledge and experience meeting project objectives
 Strong computer skills using MS Office Suite
 Knowledge of SAP ECC/APO/BI in Supply Chain through formal training and experience
an asset

Note : The vacancy though initially is contractual for 15 months. The company is open to consider
candidate for full time emplymenyon completion of contract based on performance and vacancy available
