a) You are highly encouraged to submit your TMA1 to Turnitin to generate
an Originality Report to encourage honest academic writing and it is
NOT mandatory EXCEPT for Project courses. As a rule of thumb, a
similarity index of 30% and above may justify the need to review your
TMA. Bear in mind that when you submit your TMA in Turnitin the
Submission second time the system will usually take at least 24 hours to send you
Procedure the report.

b) Zip your TMA in Microsoft Word format. Submit your assignment to


the Online Assignment Submission (OAS) system. Turnitin submission
is NOT the same as OAS submission. Make sure you submit the
complete assignment to the OAS.
a) This is an individual assignment. No duplication of work will be
tolerated. Any plagiarism or collusion may result in disciplinary action,
in addition to ZERO mark being awarded to all involved.

b) It is your responsibility to submit your TMA correctly and in a timely
manner.
Question 1:
Thinking is divided into two types of basic thought process: automatic thought process and
controlled thought process. Explain these thought processes. Provide an appropriate example for
each based on your own experience.
(30 marks)

Question 2:
What is the meaning of decision stream? Provide two (2) examples each based on:
(a) how our past decisions can influence our current or future decisions; and
(b) how our decisions can be influenced by or will influence decisions of other people
around us.
(40 marks)

Question 3:
Creativity is an ability.
Creativity is an attitude.
Creativity is a process.

Explain the meaning of the statements above. Provide relevant examples to support your
explanation.
(30 marks)

It is important for you to cite and quote references appropriately. Remember to list your
references in the References section at the end of your writing. Also, remember to
include in-text citations in your answer. You must have at least two (2) references for
each question. Use the Chicago Manual Style (CMS) or APA Style of referencing.
