The Simple Future Tense
 The simple future tense is made up of shall/will + verb.
Usage Examples
To refer to something that is going 1. Ravi will collect the money soon.
to take place in the future. 2. The orchids will bloom in a few days.

 ‘shall’ is usually used with ‘I’ and ‘we’


 ‘will’ is usually used with all pronouns including ‘I’ and ‘we’

Shark Diving
Hello everyone! I am Samuel and today I want to (0) tells you about an
activity I hope to try one day. It is shark diving. Shark diving can be (1) doing with a

Last December, my parents took my sister and I on a cruise. We sailed on a very big
ship along the Straits of Melaka. We sailed from Port Klang to Singapore and back.
There were many activities on the ship. I took part in wall climbing and a
treasure hunt. I also watched magic shows and clown shows, which were very funny.
I enjoyed my meals. There was lots of delicious food. I ate fried rice, spaghetti,
pies, buns and plenty of cakes and ice cream. There were also burgers and hot dogs
round the clock.
In Singapore, we got off the ship at 8.30 in the morning and returned by 2.30 in
the afternoon. During that time, we were free to do our own activities. My father took
my sister and I to some historical places. However, my mother did not come with us.
She joined her friends to go shopping at the shopping bazaars. She bought for us
some lovely T-shirts and key-chains.
The ship left for Port Klang that evening. We arrived in Port Klang the next
morning. It was a good trip. I would love to go on a cruise again.

Read the text below.
Hard work is the key to success. A good example of this is Natasha’s father.
He used to work is a supermarket but he found that his income was not enough.
Having no other choice, he started selling curry puffs at 8 a.m. every day.
Natasha’s father and mother would wake up at 5 a.m. to make the curry puffs. Then,
they cycled to the railway station to sell them. After that, Natasha’s father would go to
work at the supermarket at 10 a.m.
At first, Natasha’s parents only sold a small amount of curry puffs. Slowly,
they started getting regular customers who bought everything quickly.
One day, as businesswoman approached Natasha’s parents. She asked if
they wanted to sell their curry puff at a stall because it tasted delicious.
In two years, they managed to save up to open a shop. Now, they can rest
because they have 3 workers helping them make curry puffs. Their hard work paid
