At the end of the topic, the students will be able to:
1. Identify the subject and predicate in the sentence
2. Differentiate dependent clause from independent clause
3. Identify dependent and independent clause in the sentence
4. Identify simple, compound, complex, compound-complex sentences.
5. Use the correct conjunctions and punctuations in constructing the different types of
sentences
Outcomes:
At the end of the topic, the students are expected to:
1. Write a sentence and label the subject and predicate.
2. Connect the dependent and independent clause to construct a sentence
3. Construct a sentence for each sentence type
4. Write an essay using the correct conjunctions and punctuations.
