Case study “Returned products testing and refurbishment process”
- At the Dismantling station parts are broken down into their constituent
components. The number of components follow and random Triangular (6,
9, 12) Distribution. Hint: Using the Separate module to break down the
entity into its sub-components
Objective:
Time unit: minute
Working hours: 8h/day (day shift)
Each station: 1 worker/shift
Evaluate the system by collecting statistics data:
- Resource utilization
- Number in queue
- Time in queue
Cycle time (Total time in the system) of product.
