Executive Summary
This site visit report outlines the construction job of the ONE STOREY RESIDENTIAL
BUILDING located at LOT 11 BLOCK 24 RIVIERA RESIDENTIAL ESTATES GOLF AND
COUNTRY CLUB, SILANG CAVITE . During the site visit, I noticed the installation of the
roofing system has major error and sub-standard work was done. The work done should be
rectified according to the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015) and should
comply National Building Code of the Philippines.
Overview
The purpose of the site visit is to evaluate how the construction of the roofing
structural system was made and roof covering (roof Sheet).

Conclusion
Based on the observations, the manager and site engineers were too lenient in
implementing the standard in compliance to National Structural Code Of the
Philippines and Building Code of the Philippines. This can lead to serious
property damage and safety risk on the owner of the building. The
issue needs immediate action.
Recommendations
1. Trusses design and installation should be rectified and should comply NSCP 2015
standards and National Building Code of the Philippines, please refer to the remarks
provided on the observation report.

2. Trusses should have a cross bracing intermediately and sag rods spaced at 600mm.
3. Roof covering installation should be rectified and should comply National Building Code
