Title of the Reading Reading Breakdown

1. What is the reading all about

The main topic of the reading is the Rizal Law, also known as

THE Republic Act No. 1425. It is the Rizal Bill, which was previously
introduced by the Education Committee. The three signatories are
Jose P. Laurel, Claro M. Recto, and Dr. Jose B. Laurel Jr. In contrast

TRIAL to the Catholic Church, Senators Cuenco, Rodrigo, and Rosales

oppose teaching or having a topic about Rizal's books. The two
sides had a heated argument, but the Rizal Bill was eventually filed.

The essay taught me to keep an open mind and pay attention to my

surroundings. It would be advantageous if you could make
thoughtful decisions and carefully choose your words when
speaking to others, especially when religion is involved. because,

 The trials of the
Rizal Bill

The article is relevant to the lesson because Rizal books are the
topic of our discussion. The essay also helps readers understand
how Rizal became a topic and what happened in the past. Because
his books are included, the article is a component of Rizal, and
students should be aware of how they previously submitted this
article.

 How does it develop and/or promote nationalism to you?

I wholeheartedly agree that Rizal's works cultivate and promote

nationalism. We know from Rizal's books that Filipinos banded together
against the Spaniards at the time he wrote his novels when things were
just getting started. After a year, I would argue that the books have
contributed to the strengthening of our nationalism by allowing us
Filipinos to learn from the past and share it with others—even those who
are not Filipino—because we are proud because we never forget but
always forgive.

 How does it develop and/or promote patriotism to you?

Because they are part of our history and were written by Dr. Jose Rizal, a
national hero well-known to every Filipino, the books contribute to the
development or promotion of patriotism.

 How does it develop and/or promote volunteerism to you?

Volunteering has existed since we banded together in the past to fight

every nation that sought our homeland. Nowadays, being polite and
helpful, no matter who you are, makes Filipinos famous. Our government,
as well as ordinary citizens, manage a variety of volunteer activities in our
country.
