¹ Shore service as part of the annual/ periodical statutory survey for the SOLAS Safety Equipment Certificate or Passenger Ship Safety Certificate:
The inspection and/or verification must be to the satisfaction of the attending Classification Society survey or.

² Ships officers are responsible for performing tests and examinations of these fire-fighting systems or equipment, unless manufacturers require
annual servicing by an authorized agent. The tests and examinations may be required to be carried out in the presence of the Classification
Society, if deemed necessary by either the Administrator or an entity acting for and on behalf of the Administrator.
