GENERAL RULES
Eligibility:
• Each participant can take part in a maximum of two individual events and one group event.
• Participants will be categorized based on their grade levels:
o Intermediate: Grades 9, 10, and 11.
o Senior: Grades 12 and 13.
Events:
• Quiz (Group Event)
• Multimedia Presentation (Individual Event)
• PITCH TECH (Video Competition) (Individual Event)
Judging and Decision:
• A panel of judges will evaluate the performances and submissions.
• The judges' decision will be final and cannot be challenged.
Language:
• The competition will be conducted exclusively in the English language.
Registration:
• Registration will be done through a dedicated application form.
• Interested students must complete the provided application form before the given deadline.
• The registration deadline is set for July 10th.
Competition Date and Time:
• The competition will take place on July 12th, 2023, from 2.30PM onwards

B. Senior Category (Time Limit: 45 minutes):
a. Topics:
i. Programming, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI)
b. Rules and Regulations:
i. The first round will include 20 questions covering Programming and Internet
of Things (IoT).
ii. The second round will feature 10 questions related to Artificial Intelligence
(AI).
iii. Winners will be selected based on the cumulative scores obtained from all
rounds.
2. Multimedia Presentation:
A. Intermediate Category:
a. Topic:
i. "Renewable Energy"
B. Senior Category:
a. Topic:
i. "Contribution of Technological Development on Sri Lanka for a Sustainable
Future"
C. Rules and Regulations
a. Participants must bring a portable memory device containing their presentation.
b. The duration of presentations must be within 05 minutes.
c. Presentations will be evaluated in a dedicated laboratory setting.
d. The official commencement of a presentation will be determined when the presenter
begins their presentation through movement or speech.
e. Participants must deliver their presentations using their own words; the use of notes
is not permitted.
f. The competition will be conducted in the English language.
