The proponent will implement an attendance system that would solve the time and

paper consumption as well as the inaccuracy of the traditional attendance system. The
proposed system would utilize the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology as
this will serve as the attendance of the students. By scanning the RFIP tags to the RFID
readers in the subject rooms, Science and Technology Research Center (STRC) Room
111 and thesis room, the data read will be automatically saved to the attendance
database. The system will generate a report, noting whether the students are present,
late or absent depending on the time they scanned the RFID tags. Through the
website, the administrator would be able to view and manage the attendance reports
created for each of the subject room.

RFID is one of wireless technology that can be used in various sectors of

human life like military, school, sport, health, industry, security, animal, and
other areas. RFID mainly consist of two important parts, the reader
(combination of transceiver and antenna) and the tag (consist of unique
number). The use of unique number inside the tag is very useful as an identity
of an object or as tracking device. This paper explains the development of
attendance simulation on campus using RFID that connected to the database
and attendance information system. The automated attendance application
makes the attendance process at campus more simple and well-structured.
The simulation is using RFID tag to describe the student identity card. The
reader connected to the attendance information system so all attendance data
saved directly to the database and can be used to manage the information
later. The attendance process done by putting down the tag near the reader
and the unique data will be transferred directly to the database and showed at
the attendance information system.

Attendance checking can be tedious as there are hundreds or even thousands
of students to be checked every day whether they attend class or not and
instances where checking attendances manually just makes it worse. This
design aims to create a method of checking the attendances of students
without the use of the traditional pen and paper method. The design made use
of the RFID tags within the school ID of the students, Raspberry Pi as the
processing unit of the system, and an android application that operates the
entire system. The results include successes in the functionalities of the
design including registration of students and checking of the attendance itself.
It can be concluded that the design's effectiveness enables the professor to
check the attendance of the students without the use of the pen and paper
method.

During the previous years in educational sectors, attendance is so related to the

successful academic road. One of the most existing problems is when the
students got absent intentionally in each class and they miss much rich
information. In the traditional way followed by most universities, the attendance
is based on the traditional paper's record method by declaring the student's
names one by one which consumes a lot of time and could be an easy way of
fraud. To overcome the problem of manual attendance, the present paper aims to
propose an automatic student attendance system based on ID-Card for the
student. The major functions of the proposed work Present a new modern
technology in JavaFX programming language by using the photo recognition using
the web camera and convert the image into a numeric data instead of buying a
costly barcode reader which is better in such cases when we have no one
available so this aims to provide a flexible and audited system for a complete
attendance report generation in each different case like the student's list, their
attendance, and incoming warning letters whenever it needed by the lecturers so
it made in a more efficient way and automatically.

Today, the number of crime over children is increasing day per day. The
implement of School Children Monitoring System via RFID will help to overcome
and reduce worried among parents. This project is combination the latest
technology using RFID, SMS system, and web based develop using PHP, VB.Net
language, Apache Web Server and MySql. When the student enters the main
school entrance, they must pass the tag that given to the RFID antenna, and the
RFID reader will read the student ID. Then, information about the student such as
time in and time out from school will be recorded to web based system and the
SMS system automatically sends to their parent’s mobile to inform that the
children arrived at school safely. The development of SCMS helps school to better
manage its student’s attendance and will inform the parents when the children
enter and back from school. SCMS via RFID will provide the school with a
computer system that can store its student’s information efficiently in a database.
This system also provides the RFID antenna and reader that can detect the
student when they touch the tag through reader. Therefore, with SCMS it is
hoped that school will have a better and efficient management of its students and
hence improves its operations.
