Topic: Compare and Contrast Essay

At the end of the class, the students should be able to:


a. Define compare and contrast;
b. Identify similarities and differences between two things;
c. Use graphic organizer (Venn Diagram) to compare and contrast;

A. Preliminary Activities

 Greetings
B. Motivation (5 mins)

TASK 1.

Look at these clocks. What can you say They are different because the first

Definition:
Comparing is when you identify things
that are alike or similar between two or
more things.
Contrasting is when you identify things
that are not alike or that different
between two or more things.
