I. Objective:
At the end of this lesson, the pupils are expected to:

1. describe one’s drawing about the stories/poems listened to


using simple and compound sentences;
2. organize ideas based on drawing using simple and
compound sentences.

text heard, demonstrates independence in using the
basic language structure in oral and written
communication, and reads with comprehension.

Describe one’s drawing about the stories/poems listened to using
simple and compound sentences.

II. Content:
 Topic: Describe One’s Drawing About the Stories/Poems Listened to Using
Simple and Compound Sentences
 Introduction: In this lesson, the children will learn to develop their
writing skill. It enables them to learn how to compose ideas,
organize thoughts, and write different kinds of sentences
by describing one’s drawing.
This will also enhance their speaking ability by creating
sentences that are grammatically correct.

III. Procedure:
 Preliminaries (Preparation, Setting of Classroom Standards, Drills, Spelling)

The Enchanted Forest
In a faraway land, there existed an enchanted
forest filled with magical creatures. The trees whispered
ancient secrets, and the flowers glowed in vibrant colors.
It was said that if you followed the winding path deep into
the heart of the forest, you would stumble upon a
sparkling waterfall with healing powers. Many
adventurers sought the mystical waters, but only those
with pure hearts could find it.

One day, a young girl named Lily embarked on a


journey to the enchanted forest. She had heard tales of its
beauty and hoped to witness its magic. As she wandered
through the emerald-green woods, she encountered
talking animals, playful fairies, and even a gentle
unicorn. Guided by her kindness and curiosity, Lily found
the hidden waterfall, and as she splashed the water on
her face, she felt a surge of energy. From that day on, Lily
visited the enchanted forest often, sharing its wonders
with her friends and family, and spreading the
enchantment to all who believed in the magic of the place.

and end with a punctuation mark called a period (.) or question
mark (?).

There is a boy named Biboy who lives in a barrio. He


wakes up early and helps his father in the farm before going
to school. Upon arriving from school, he get some firewood.
At night, he studies his lessons before going to sleep. During
weekends, he helps his mother wash their clothes in the
river. Biboy is an industrious child but sometimes he is
playful.
