We are pleased to inform you that your application to sell your HDB flat has been accepted.
Flat inspection
2 Our Estate Executive from the Toa Payoh Branch will visit you on 07/03/2023 between 10am and 1pm to inspect
your flat. The purpose is to check for any unauthorised renovation in the flat which may damage the property and affect
the structural stability of the building.
3 If you need to change the inspection schedule, please call our Branch Service Line at 1800-2255432, on
weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The new schedule will be at least 3 working days from your call.
Acknowledge documents
4 The resale documents will be ready for your acknowledgment in three weeks' time. Our Customer Relations
Manager will inform you via SMS when the documents are ready. Do acknowledge the documents promptly. Otherwise,
we will not be able to process your application and will proceed to cancel it.
Resale approval
5 The resale approval will be granted one week after both sellers and buyers have acknowledged the required
documents and pay the necessary legal/stamp fees if applicable.
6 The transaction will be completed on 25/04/2023. This is the earliest possible date to complete the transaction. If
you wish to defer the completion, please discuss with your buyers and let us have a written confirmation (signed by both
sellers and buyers) via MyRequest@HDB (www.hdb.gov.sg/MyRequest) by 07/03/2023.
7 You can access the HDB Resale Portal, using your Singpass and 2FA password to view the documents and to
check the progress of the transaction. You may refer to the attached Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Q3: My family member who needs to endorse the documents at the HDB Resale Portal does not have a Singpass.
What should he/she do?
A3: If your family member is a Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident, he/she can apply for a
Singpass at the Singpass service link on the login page of the HDB Resale Portal or at Singpass website at
www.singpass.gov.sg.
If your family member is a non-resident, he/she may sign the documents in person at our office. Please
contact our Customer Relations Manager to make an appointment.
Q4: If I have appointed HDB to act for me in my transaction, when do I pay the conveyancing fees?
A4: You need to make the payment once you have endorsed the documents. The payment can be made using
credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or NETS QR payment*. Payment must be made before you can proceed with
the transaction.
* The mobile apps that support NETS QR payment are NETSPay, DBS PayLah!, DBS digibank, POSB
digibank, OCBC Pay Anyone and UOB Mighty.
