Lesson Objectives: To introduce and practice basic color vocabulary through


engaging activities.

Resources:  Color flashcards

 Picture book with color illustrations

 Color-related objects (colored toys, objects from the


classroom)

 Crayons, markers, colored pencils

 Whiteboard, paper

Warm-up Shape Hunt  Create shape cards with different shapes (circle, square, Shape cards 5 minutes
triangle, etc.).

 Scatter the shape cards around the room.

 Call out a shape; the children should find the corresponding


shape card and bring it to the teacher. Alternatively, they can
stand next to the shape.

 The student who is the fastest one will score one point. Who
has the most points will be the winner.

Pre-task Gather students in a circle and briefly introduce the concept of colors. Color-related objects 3 minutes
Show a few colorful objects and ask the students if they know the
names of these colors.

Introduce the lesson theme: "Today, we're going to learn about


colors!"

Back-up Rainbow Song  Teach the students a simple rainbow song. Example: "Red and

clean!"

 Sing the song while showing the color flashcards in sequence.


Encourage the students to sing along and repeat after you.
