COURSE REQUIREMENTS
To pass this course, the following requirements must be satisfied by the students:

1. Pass the midterm and final examinations;


2. Satisfy 80% of the required attendance in the class;
3. Submit all the required laboratory activities, projects/term papers, written reports;
4. Presentation of project, term paper, problem sets and/or assignments; and
5. Join field activity.

COURSE POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS

General Class Policies:


1. Observe punctuality;
a. Entering the class beyond 15 minutes is considered absent;
b. Three (3) valid excuses are equivalent to one (1) absent;
c. Three cumulative/consecutive absences will be referred for guidance counseling;
d. Ten (10) absences before midterm will be graded “DRP” (dropped); and

e. Ten (10) absences in the whole duration of the course will be graded “FAILED”.
2. Student may be temporarily restricted from class attendance on LMS/in-person until cleared by the guidance counselor;
3. Submission of requirements will be observed;
a. Acceptance of output is based on the completion of minimum requirement;
b. All requirements shall be accepted a day before the final examination; snd
c. Output submitted after due time will be deducted 10 points a day.

In-Person Class Policies:


1. Always abide health protocols;
2. Wear uniform and school ID before entering the class; and
3. Proper use of gadgets such as smartphones, tablets and personal computers during classes shall be always observed.

Assessment and Grading:


1. Examinations will be scheduled;
2. The fifty percent passing rate should be applied to all examinations, homebased requirements, participation (except attendance), and laboratory activities;
3. Student outputs should be assessed using the ABE Department Rating Matrix and its rubrics; and
4. The final grade should be computed using the following formula:
