Conceptual Framework
Conceptual Framework
Introduction
In research, the Conceptual Framework guides the study between the link of
several variables, concepts and theories that are relevant to the researchers study. It
helps researchers to conceptualize how different elements or variables are
connected and how they influence each other. Hence, these report aims to
apprehend the definition of the Conceptual Framework, it’s purpose towards the
study and what are the variables and it’s roles towards the framework. Additionally,
we will going to scrutiny the steps and processes in developing a conceptual
framework.
Discussion
1. Choose your topic — This will help you focus on the most important
concepts and relationships.
4. Choose your variables — identify and pinpoint the variable that has
been discussed in the literature you have studied. The variables can be
classified into three: independent variables, these are the variables
that you believe will have an effect on the dependent variable;
Dependent variables, these are the variables that you believe will be
affected by the independent variable; and Control variables, these are
variables that you believe could potentially affect the dependent
variable, but that you are not manipulating or testing.
6. Create the conceptual framework – Now that you have achieved all
the previous steps, the final step is to illustrate the diagram (in some
cases the author uses a written form of Conceptual Framework).
