Summit Hotels and Resorts is a Filipino brand of hotels owned and

operated by Robinsons Land Corporation, the real estate arm of JG

Summit Holdings established by Filipino-Chinese entrepreneur John

Gokongwei Jr. It began operating in 2009 with the opening of its first

hotel, Summit Ridge Tagaytay in Tagaytay, Cavite. As of 2020, the

company has six hotels, all located in the Philippines.

personality doing my assignment and I have more realized that, in housekeeping

Department you must have a power of patience, teamwork and most of all

kindness because all of that I applied to have much more learnings and gained

more knowledge to handle all of the situation in the hotel.

In doing the task or assignment I have encountered different problems but the

most difficult to me when I assigned to the area that I’m new and I don’t know

how to start my task because my team leader is lazy and all of our members is

friends of my team leader that’s why I don’t know how to start our task if my team

leader is nothing to said about that

In other circumstances I encounter that and so many misunderstanding or

communicating to the my co ojt’s but I managed to handle and understand every

situation to have a smooth and no stress in my ojt days.

I survived my ojt of having a discipline and respect to my other ojt’s . I’m so proud

of me and same to my fellow ojt’s because no matter what we choose to

understand each other and choose not to have a conflict nor circumstances.

 the way the trainer is explaining to you the process of your work

X. Mentoring Process Paragraph

In mentoring process I proudly to say that my mentor or my supervisor have the

best instructions and illustration to execute my task safely and smoothly. My

mentor demonstrate step by step out task to maintain hotel standard and to

prevent any accident.

Before we start our day he gather a short meeting to describe our

accomplishment yesterday and our need to improve to meet our guest

satisfaction.

 The mentor will EXPLAIN the position and the procedure(s) in which to

properly execute the task in detail.

 The mentor will then DEMONSTRATE the procedure they have just

explained.

 At this point, the mentor will let the trainee PERFORM the task while standing

nearby and observing.

 After assessing that the trainee can competently perform the task, the trainee

will be ready to perform the task solo.

I don’t think I have limitations or hindrances to achieve my goal because every

obstacle or constraints that I face it’s makes me stronger and gave my hardwork
