Activity 1

1. You can discover your unique skills through self-improvement and build on them. Knowing your
strengths is important for all area of your life, from relationships to careers. It helps you have a
better knowledge of what you want and the areas where you are most likely to succeed. Your
own self is what you knows best. Your thoughts are under your control, and your personality is
who you are. Also important to confidence are independence and self-awareness. You can
develop a strong feeling of self-confidence by knowing who you are and what you stand for in
life.
2. In times of uncertainty and helplessness (like what the quarantine, or crisis, has been affecting
everyone else), it is crucial to understand oneself because doing so will justify one's feelings.
Understanding the causes of your helplessness will help you deal with the emotion in the best
way. The greatest way to comprehend and get past your emotions is to face the problem. As a
result, as you learn more about yourself, you also progress in embracing how you are
experiencing right now.
3. It makes me feel awful to know and hear about those who killed themselves to end their
problems because they gave up their lives far too soon. If I were in their shoes, I would try to be
upbeat for the people who are there to love and care for me; I wouldn't try to do things that
would make them sad. Instead, I would ask for their assistance in such a situation so that I can
be comforted by them and avoid doing such bad things as well, which is not good in God's eyes.
4. My daily actions are what define who I am. So. I give thanks to God for always being there for
me because I feel grateful and delighted to be alive and well. The main characteristics of the self
are independence, self-contentedness, consistency, separation, and privacy. One person cannot
be another since we are each diverse, unique, and own our own identities and traits. We are cut
off from the outside world. All of a person's characteristics, knowingly and unconsciously,
mentally and physically, make up their entirety.

Activity 3

1. The first feeling I will experience if I break the rules at school is fear. If my parents learned about
it and disciplined me for the second time, I would be scared. Second, I'll be embarrassed in front
of my fellow schoolmates because getting penalized is a bad thing. The third will hopefully cause
me to feel guilty and desire to avoid making the same mistake again in order to avoid being
penalized again.

2. Usually, when I earn an award at school, excitement is the first emotion I experience. Then, in
addition to being grateful to those who assisted me in receiving the award, I will also feel proud
of myself for being able to do it. I'll feel touched as well. After that, I'll attempt to maintain my
simplicity because winning an award can make me feel arrogant.
3. Yes, there are a few things of my present self that I would like to improve. The first is that I want
to be more on time because I used to be quite tardy. Second, I want to stop playing too many
games and want to increase my knowledge. Finally, I want to adjust my sleep routine so that it is
more consistent because I believe that irregular sleep will have an impact on my health.

1. Power

This takes value from social status and prestige. The ability to control others is important
and power will be actively sought through dominance of others and control over resources.
2. Achievement

Value here comes from setting goals and then achieving them. The more challenge, the greater the
sense of achievement. When others have achieved the same thing, status is reduced, and greater
goals are sought.
3. Hedonism

Hedonists simply enjoy themselves. They seek pleasure above all things and may, according to the
view of others, sink into debauchery.
4. Stimulation

The need for stimulation is close to hedonism, though the goal is slightly different. Pleasure here
comes more specifically from excitement and thrills and a person with this driver is more likely to be
found doing extreme sports than propping up a bar.
5. Self-direction

Those who seek self-direction enjoy being independent and outside the control of others. The prefer
freedom and may have a particular creative or artistic bent, which they seek to indulge whenever
possible.
6. Universalism

The universalist seeks social justice and tolerance for all. They promote peace and equality and find
war anathema except perhaps in pursuit of lasting peace.
7. Benevolence

Those who tend towards benevolence are very giving, seeking to help others and provide general
welfare. They are the 'earth mothers' who nurture all.
8. Tradition

The traditionalist respects that which has gone before, doing things simply because they are
customary. They are conservatives in the original sense, seeking to preserve the world order as is. Any
change makes them uncomfortable.
9. Conformity

The person who values conformity seeks obedience to clear rules and structures. They gain a sense of
control through doing what they are told and conforming to agreed laws and statutes.
10. Security

Those who seek security seek health and safety to a greater degree than other people (perhaps because
of childhood woes). Though they may worry about the potential of military force, they welcome the
comfort that their existence brings.
