barriers to prevent people from entering particular parts of the structure.
- Schools can offer staff, instructors, and students security and safety awareness training and
programs. This can involve receiving instruction on how to handle emergency circumstances
and on how to spot and report suspicious activity
- For information and instructions to be communicated efficiently in emergency situations, clear
communication methods should be in place. This could involve set procedures for sending out

Vl. Appendix
-According to our survey, there is still space for improvement even if schools are addressing
physical security, human security, and document security in various ways. To encourage a

Recommendation

The parking space is limited, which is the first problem We encountered during our security
check. Second, there won't be any CCTV cameras or security systems. Finally, there won't be
any security precautions taken. Here are three suggestions for carrying out a school security
survey. Determine Vulnerabilities:Finding any weaknesses in the current security procedures in
place at the school is the first step in conducting a security audit. Identifying any weaknesses in
perimeter fencing, access control systems, surveillance cameras, and other security measures
can be done by performing a comprehensive risk assessment. Conduct Site Inspection: After
the vulnerabilities have been found, it's critical to evaluate the security measures in place at the
school by conducting a site inspection. A trained security specialist with the knowledge to spot
potential security flaws and offer suggestions for improvement should perform the site
evaluation. Assess and Enhance Security Measures: The school should assess its present
security measures and make any required adjustments in light of the security survey's results.
To update security procedures, install any required security equipment, and instruct staff on
adhering to the revised security measures, the school should collaborate with a qualified
security specialist.
