INTRODUCTION
Field attachment is an approved field based session where the trainees go out to the field to
get exposed, familiarize and obtain working experience within an organization. The students
are expected to apply the theoretical knowledge learnt in the classroom and put it into real life
working environment and carry out specified projects. This also enables them to gain first-
hand experience on extension work and research activities especially the planning,
implementing and evaluating extension and research programs. This is a time when trainees
have the opportunity to acquire practical training skills and to have an understanding of the
environmental, political, economic and social influences on management and work
performance.
To provide opportunities for students to put into practice the knowledge and
skills acquired in real-life working environment.
To instill students the right kind of work attitudes and collaborative and
interpersonal skills, as well as professionalism through interactions with
others in a working environment.
