* Complete Topographic Survey (All three co-ordinates N, E & R.L.) on UTM Co-ordinates/GIS platform,
marking of associated boreholes and Geological Survey of area on the corresponding scale as per details
given below using DGPS and total stations. Topographical survey (Detail Mapping)
* To survey in the given area in three co-ordinates of each points (Northing, Easting &Elevation /R.L.) by
total station using given UTM co-ordinates & R.L. of two known points in the area concerned OR in user
defined coordinate system strictly as per the instructions and directives of the concerned site in charge.
The entire survey work has to be carried as per the directives, instructions and to the satisfaction of the
concerned site in-charge.
* The survey work should cover: -
a. All natural features like water bodies, hillocks, streams, ditches etc. & all.
b. All manmade features like existing buildings, road, overhead electric lines, electric pylons, wells,
pipeline, height of electric wire etc. and all other permanent structures.
c. Taking spot level 25m x 25m (or lower) grids if required for generation of contour maps at contour
interval of 2.0m (or lower), 5m, 10m etc. as per requirement.
d. The geological body/ points identified by the concerned site in charge or other officer designated
by site in- charge.
e. Various & suitable codes to be used for topographical and geological features as per the
instructions and directives of the concerned site in charge or other officer designated by site in
charge.
f. Data has to be downloaded and handed over to the concerned site in charge as & when demanded
by him. Provide Geological map of geological data points. Data processing to generate Topo Map
with contour in three hard and soft copies
g. Marking of sample locations along with RL as per the directives of the concerned site in charge or
other authorized officer.
* To establish sufficient Station points all over the concerned area including fixing sufficient no. of
concrete posts or hard wooden /pegs and suitably marking them with red paint for easy
reference/identification of these station point.
* To submit data in Excel Format from time to time as and when required by and with the concerned
site in charge or other designated officer of GSI. Final data & map; map submission will have to be
made within 15 days of completion of field work. Map will be in .dwg. (AutoCAD file) Auto CAD
(licensed) or other required format such as Arc GIS files such as shp., tiff., mxd., etc (all of these or
any other file formats compatible with Arc-GIS) with hard copy (3 copies) and softcopy (in CD
format) for each area with the site in charge of area concerned.
* Number of DGPS Electronic Total Stations: Bidder should possess / deploy a minimum one no’s
1”/2” Electronic Total stations & amp; DGPS with RTK receivers which are not more than 5 years old
for each separate item work.
