Designation: Senior Programme Manager

Location: Champawat, Uttarakhand

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Programme Manager to lead and oversee our
diverse range of initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children in need. The Senior Program Manager
will be responsible for strategic planning, program design and development, implementation, and
evaluation, ensuring that all programs align with the Foundation’s mission and goals. This role requires
strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced
by marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

 Strategic Planning and Development: Develop and implement program strategies that align
with the Foundation’s mission and goals. Identify and analyze community needs, design
interventions, and set measurable objectives.
 Program Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple programs, ensuring they
are executed efficiently and effectively. Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources.
 Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including
government agencies, community leaders, and donors. Represent the Foundation in various
forums and events.
 Team Leadership: Lead and mentor program staff, providing guidance and support to ensure
high performance and professional growth. Foster a collaborative and positive team
environment.
 Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish and track program metrics to assess impact and
effectiveness. Conduct regular evaluations and audits to ensure programs are meeting their
goals and making a difference.
 Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports on program progress
and outcomes to the Foundation’s management. Ensure transparent and effective
communication with all stakeholders.
 Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in child
welfare and program management. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance
program effectiveness and sustainability.

Required Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or


a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
 Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in program management within the nonprofit
sector, with a proven track record of leading complex programs and teams. Experience working
in child welfare or with marginalized communities is essential.
 Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in
program management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
 Knowledge: In-depth understanding of child welfare issues, social impact strategies, and
community engagement practices. Familiarity with Indian socio-economic contexts and
challenges faced by marginalized populations.
 Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi, and proficiency in English
