NOTES
This pattern is created through a graph, so I have provided 3 different
patterns you can follow to make this Ghostface tapestry. The first
pattern is just the graph that you can follow along back and forth through
the rows. The second pattern is colour block instructions, and the third
pattern follows a traditional written crochet pattern.
Once finishing the graph section of this pdf, you can finish there and
leave it as a tapestry, however, in this pdf, I have also included a pattern
to turn the Ghostface pattern into a pillow or a tote bag.
This pattern uses Chains and Single crochets throughout. Here are
tutorials on how to do these stiches if you do not know how.

Pattern 1: Graph
Each square counts as 1 Sc
At the end of each row, Ch 1 and turn
You can use 3 different Skeins of red Yarn or cut 2 long strands of the red yarn to
use for the different red parts of the graph, so you do not have to carry the red
colour throughout. (or any other background colour you are using).
Start by ch 58 and sc into the 2nd ch from your hook.

Pattern 2: Colour block
Start by ch 58 and sc into the 2nd ch from your hook.
At the end of each row, ch 1 and turn
The number in each box counts as the number of sc in that colour.

Your finished Ghostface pattern should look like once you have finished the pattern.
You can leave your Ghostface like this and turn it into a wall hanging/tapestry, or
incorporate the pattern into any other project. I have included two patterns for turning
this graph into a pillow or a tote bag, for example.
(For the pillow or tote bag, you can create 2 of the Ghostface graphs so that both
sides will have the design. In the patterns below I just use black yarn for a plain black
panel.)
Ghostface Pillow
You will need polyfill fibre to stuff the pillow
Begin by ch 58 and sc into the 2nd ch from your hook (3.5mm)
B = Black dk yarn
Row 1-56: sc 57 in B
Fo and weave in ends.
Line up your panels with the front of the panels facing inwards.
Join your two panels using a single crochet stitch, if you do not know how to do this,
here is a quick tutorial:

America%27sYarnStore
Sc around your panels, stopping when you are nearly back at the beginning to flip
your panels the right way. Begin stuffing with polyfill.
Sew the opening closed using a whip stitch and a tapestry needle. If you do not know
how to do a whip stitch, you can watch a quick tutorial here:

Ghostface Tote Bag
You will need weight 4 (Aran or worsted) black yarn for the bottom panel
and strap, this will make the bag stronger.
Use 3.5mm hook throughout.
