Levels of performance and rigidity only possible with a
vertical lathe. The VL Series is built to take on large
workpieces.

Turret
To achieve maximum efficiency, both the X- and Z- axes
have high-speed servomotors. Live tooling support is
also available for process integration.

Excellent stability
The generous door opening above the spindle permits
efficient loading and capitalizes on the benefits of
gravity. The close proximity of the spindle to the
front cover further promotes part handling. This not
only simplifies loading and unloading, but increases
safety as well.

Superior rigidity
Strong one-piece box construction has been used for
the bed, which serves as the base. The direct-action
roller bearing uses super heavy load ball guides for
increased rigidity.
