When the hands move in opposite directions, one ascending as the other descends,
it is called CONTRARY MOTION.
Play hands separately, then together. Play slowly at first, then gradually increase speed.

The CHROMATIC SCALE is made up entirely of HALF STEPS.
lt goes up and down, using every key, bl ck nd whil . lt may begin on any note

FINGERING RULES
• Use 3 on each BLACK KEY.
• Use 1 on each white key, except when two white keys are together
(no black key between), then use 1 - 2, or 2 - 1.
